Q: Why do you hate Google?
A: I do not hate Google! In fact, I like Google a lot! I particularly like the Google tool bar. If you don't already have the Google tool bar - you can download it HERE for free.

A: No! Google is merely a search engine that lists stuff found on other websites. Google can't be held responsible for what other people put on their websites.

Q: How did you get your results?
A: I entered the following phrases into Google's search engine: "white people are known for", "black people are known for" , "asian people are known for", etc... I then listed the things that came after the "are known for" part.
Q: There was some very hateful/racist/ignorant things on your list! Why did you include them?
A: I wanted to accurately show the results for each search on Google. Editing out offensive things would defeat that purpose.
Q: How did you decide what to list and what not to list?
A: Before starting this little experiment I established the following rules:
1) I would NOT edit the content of what I found. Regardless if it was stupid, hateful, racist, inaccurate or even misspelled - I would list it as shown.
2) I would skip a search result if it was repetitive. If it said the EXACT same thing as an earlier quote - I'd skip it.
3) I would not list something that did not make sense. For example, if the result was something strange like "I longbow that asia people are known for the and online like too that." I would skip it.
4) I left it up to my own discretion as to how I listed something with an odd sentence structure such as "It has never been widely believed that humans are known for not being great."
Q: Why did you make this website?
A: To generate traffic and have fun.
Q: How come you listed "white people" first? Do you hate them more?
A: What!?! No! I do not hate white people or any other race for that matter. The order that the races are listed is arbitrary.
Q: How come you used the term "Black People" instead of "African American"?
A: "African American" excludes black people who live in other places in the world besides America. "Black People" is a more inclusive and accurate term to use.
Q: I'm a member of the ______ race. How come my people were not listed?
A: I'm sure I could have included other races besides the ones I have listed (such as "Native Australians", "South Americans" or "Eastern Islanders") ...But I guess I was too lazy to do that.

A: Why not?

Q: I did my own searches and found completely different stuff! Why?
A: I did my searches on March 21st 2006... Google is constantly updating and changing. So search results can vary dramatically from one day to the next.
Q: Why are there some irrelevant images shown on some pages?
A: Google is a great search engine, but it is not infallible. That is why a search in Google's image search for "Asian People" can result in something totally irrelevant like a photo of a white woman's boobs. Or the image search results for "Middle Easterners" can include an ad for a cell-phone or a photo of president Bush.
