Gremlins Appearance: Gremlins share the following physical characteristics: They have green scaly skin, sharp teeth, hairless monkey-like bodies and large pointy ears. They average about 1.5ft high. Gremlins look very similar to each other which is why they try to distinguish them selves with body paint and crude earrings. Behavior:
Like Orks and Goblins - Gremlins like violence and war. Unlike Orks and Goblins - Gremlins are not so good at it. They posses neither Main Page - About Orcs - Play Orc - Press Release - Orc Posters - F.A.Q. - Free Games - Orc Links - Help Wanted the combat skill of Orks nor the cunning of Goblins. The only thing that keeps some Gremlins alive in battle is their incredibly fast reflexes that seems to boarder on precognition. Skills: Gremlins do not speak and most behave like primitive animals. But Gremlins posses photogenic memories and are capable of drawing photo-realistic pictures. Gremlins also excel at other forms of art such as painting, music, sculpture, wood carving, etc... Reproduction:
Gremlins are hermaphrodites capable of generating both sperm and eggs. Gremlin copulation is accomplished by means of "kissing cloacae." The cloaca is an all-purpose body cavity that reptiles, birds and Gremlins use for copulation, urination, and defecation. One would think this might reduce the romantic potential. (Then again, maybe not.) During copulation - two Gremlins will embrace each other tightly - pressing their cloacae together. Generative material (sperm and eggs) are exchanged. 2 Weeks to 1 year later (depending on environmental conditions) a fertilized Gremlin will lay a sticky green egg. The gremlin will then place the egg in a location that is nearby, but hidden from plane view - such as inside a hollow tree trunk, stuck to the underside of a bridge or in the rafters of an old barn. The egg remains sticky for about an hour after being laid - then cements firmly to what ever it is touching. The egg is then abandoned by the parent. The sticky cement-like substance that the eggs are coated with is highly toxic to most animals. 3 to 4 weeks later the eggs will hatch. Within an hour the 5 inch tall newborn is able to walk, jump and climb. If water and food are plentiful - the Gremlin will become full grown in less then a year. |
