Dear "My Sister's Brother" -
Legally she is executor so she can do what she pleases. Tell her what you would like to see done, but do respect her wishes.

4) Response from Ms. Shaftfut

Dear My Sister's Brother:
Firstly... I think you should just leave well enough alone. As you said, your sister has executor power over the estate and can do what ever she wants, so you should be glad she is letting you have the $100,000.00!
Secondly... I noticed that you are 30 years old and your sister is only 20. Usually people designate their oldest child to be executors of their estates. However I'm guessing your father chose your sister because, dispute her age, she is more mature then you are. I also suspect that she is not nearly as crass or spoiled. My advice is that you just take the money and shut the fuck up. You should also stop being a whinny little douche bag.

Dear M.S.B.-
Hypothetically, if your sister should happen to have a fatal "accident" - who would become executor of HER estate? For example, if she was to fall out of bed in the middle of the night and hit her head on her night stand seven or eight times....?
Just asking. (wink-wink)

#2) Ask Da Orcs

Dear members of the A.D.O. panel -
I'm a 30 year old man with a 20 year old sister. Last month our father passed away. His last will in testament designated my sister as the executor of his estate which consists of $100,000.00 in liquidated assets, a $80,000.00 home (tax assessment value)* and a $30,000.00 Car. My sister has decided to move herself into the home and has taken ownership of the car too. That leaves me with just a check for $100,000.00 ...
*I believe the tax assessment value of the home is very low; I'd be surprised if the home would sell for less then $120,000.00 on the open market. She has also taken possession of all the furnishings inside the home, which I estimate would sell for at least 10,000.00!
Under the terms of the will and as executor of our father's estate, my sister can do whatever she wants and I have no legal recourse. How do I tactfully ask my sister to be more equitable? Can you give me some advice for dealing with this type of problem?
Thank you in advance,
- My Sister's Brother

1) Response from Prof. Pizpoploop:

Dear "My Sister's Brother":
Here, at the university where I teach, researchers have created an incredible device that is capable of magnifying objects 136,000,000%. This amazing device utilizes a series of concave crystal lenses to make incredibly small objects visible. Even objects as small as 1,000,000th the size of a speck of dust can be seen with it! However, even with the help of such a device, you would still not be able to see how very little I care about your problem.
     Sincerely,
Prof. Pizpoploop
